A celebration of life, and a celebration of some of the special moments in one's life. It's an item full of music, dance, color, vibrance, fun. A spectacular meloedy of songs and dances performed by teenagers and adults of different age groups, based on some meaningful themes in one's life

This Dance is performed by the backward class of the Umji and Indravelli forest areas of Utnoor Taluk of adilabad District of Andhra Pradesh. They dance for the occasions of Krishna Astami and Sriramanavami. Men and women dance together in many occasions of their life. They are even called as Koppu Lambadis because of their unique hair style. The musical instruments that they use for the dance are Sutta, Tasha, Nagara and Dappu.

This is the choreographic form of folk dance. The followers and Tribals living in forest is giving a salutation to the Mother Forest for blessing them with beautiful Natural resources like Pure wind, Water, Medicines and Vegetables. These tribals live in the eastern mountainous regions of Andhra Pradesh known as Eastern ghats. They love the animals and trees around them and they sing songs in praise of the local deity Adavithalli and dance to the rhythm of music. These dancers will be the poojaries and also tribals of Forest and village Gods.

This dance is performed in the remote villages of East and West Godavari. The main occasion for this festival is Sankranti the most celebrated festival all over the Andhra Pradesh. When the harvest comes the Farmers with the enthusiasm of yielding their crops perform this dance. The dance depicts the total drama of Farming. This is one of the most enchanting Dances with beautiful rhythm and costumes. Male and Female dance together which starts slowly but ends up with vigorous dance. The main supporting musical instruments are Dappu and shenoy.

Lambadis are tribals who are also known as Sengalis and Banjaras. They are the migrants from Rajasthan. The Lambadi women wear red colorful dress with lots of mirror work on the dress. They wear ivory bangles and innumerable silver coated ornaments. The Dance performed by them are very vigorous. The language in which the songs are sung is derived from Lambadi Dialect. They worship Krishna and Rama. They dance and sing for each and every occasion of their life. The Males play Dappu and some time even dance with female.

Dhimsa dance is a dance of young and old women of Valmiki, Bagata, Khonda and Kotia tribes living in the enchanting Araku Valley in the hilly tracts of Vishakhapatnam district. These Tribals dance during the months of Chaitra i.e. MarchApril, on weddings and other festivities. During the festivals dancers of one village visit the other to participate in the dance and join the community feast. This dances are known as Sankidi Kelbar. The unique feature of Dhimsa dance is that it chanalises friendship and fraternity between the people of different villages. This being traditionally a tribal dance, the women folk attired in typical tribal dress and ornaments dance in group to the tune of Mori, Kiridi, Tudumu, Dappu and Jodukommulu.

Forest represents an important long-held tradition of conserving specific cultures and traditions. These land areas have cultural and often religious significance. Andhra Pradesh has diversity of cultures and traditions of sacred forests. These tribes groves are forest fragments in agriculture, religion, tradition with a bonded community to protect these natural resources. The Eastern Ghats in specific has international bio-diversity spots. Well groomed cultural significance of sacred forests, the dance depicts and also takes representation of conserving the biological diversity, medicinal plants with highly nature pure landscapes. This Dance is a well set message to the concrete worlds to take up the ownership of forest protection, forest products and be part of the general free life of cultural traditions in forests.

The Koya tribes of Andhra Pradesh have very strong affinity with Marias tribes wearing Bison-Horn head dress in Bastar of Orissa state. Their Koya dance has the Rituals and Magical significance. They live in remote forest Hill-tops of Vishakapatnam and Khamam areas. The dances have Mayura Nat and Harvesting Dances. The dance goes in simple steps with complex patterns of movement with rhythmical accompaniments like Drums, Mayungga supported by a three feet bamboo stick flute Pioodi which has five unique holed.

Bonalu a short form for Bhojanalu which means MEALS, is a ritual offering of meals to the mother Goddess. This is a festival of Telangana region in Andhra Pradesh. The Festival is celebrated during the month of ASHADA July to August in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and surrounding villages. The Bonalu, ritually dedicated to the goddess before they are lifted on to the heads of the women carrying them, are considered to have got charged with the spirit of Goddess. Because of this mood in her, she easily gets into a trance and begins to dance rhythmically in tune with the drum beat.POTHARAJU is considered to be the brother of mother goddess, who always dances before the Palaharam Bandi taken on to the streets of Ashadam.
